UK Carriers Slash iPad Prices; iPad 2 Launch Imminent?

UK carriers, T-Mobile and Orange have recently slashed prices of iPad 3G models, which probably indicates that iPad 2 launch is imminent.
Back in December 2010, UK carriers had started offering iPad 3G models at subsidized rates to customers willing to commit to a contract.
The UK carriers are currently offering discounts to customers signing up for 24-month contracts.TechRadar reports:
Orange is now selling the iPad for £99 on its 24-month contracts and T-Mobile is offering the same to existing customers.
Previously, Orange was offering the iPad WiFi + 3G at £199.99 upfront on a £25 per month contract to existing customers and at £229.99 for new customers on a £27 per month contract - so the new pricing offers a saving of at least £100 on each.
T-Mobile, meanwhile, is only offering the discount to existing customers on a 24-month £25 tariff.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that Vincent Chen and Alison Chen, analysts at Yuanta Securities Co. claim that the second generation iPad may be delayed from April to June.
The report by Vincent Chen and Alison Chen, analysts at Yuanta, cited “production bottlenecks” at Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. after Apple made design changes before the Lunar New year.
Apple typically follows an annual product cycle. Last year, Apple had unveiled the iPad in February and started selling it in early April. So far all rumors and speculations have also indicated that Apple will launch iPad 2 sometime in March or early April, this is the first report that claims that it will be delayed.
Are you eagerly waiting for iPad 2? Would you be disappointed if it is delayed until June?
